Automated Online Sampling System with Feed Control
The SEG-FLOW® can withdraw a cell free or cell containing sample
(cell-free sampling utilizes the FISP® Sampling Probes)
from 8 fermentation vessels or bioreactors and then sends it to 4 analyzers or fraction collectors
(Flow-Fraction). The sampling system can then control feed to the vessels based on set target
concentrations in the Flow-Web® software. An analyzer sends back the measured result to
the SEG-FLOW® through an RS-232 or analog signal, this result is then posted in the software.
The system then controls a feed pump or sends a signal to an existing feed system based on the measured
result and target concentration. There are multiple outputs for each vessel.
Significant features of the SEG-FLOW®
