Membranes
FISP® probes are equipped with a ceramic micro-porous membrane,
which has been GMP validated and used for multiple vessel applications.
The FISP® probe can be used with customized membranes as well.
Rapid Flow™ Ceramic Membrane:
- 0.2 micron
- Hydrophilic material, no pre-treatment of membranes required
- Smooth surface allows vessel contents to sweep across membrane, dislodging particulates
- Can be autoclaved or sterilized in place
- No effects from high concentrations of anti-foam agents
- Flow rate up to 5 ml/min (0.4 - 2.0 ml/min flow rates are typical)
Customized Membranes:
- Membranes can be tailored to meet unique needs and applications by modifying the following characteristics:
- Pore size
- Membrane dimensions
- Membrane composition
