FISP® Applications
Microbial and Mammalian Sampling
FISP® will perform well whether the process is a microbial fermentation requiring multiple samples per hour or a mammalian cell culture requiring less frequent sampling. Sampling with FISP® provides an excellent means of obtaining material for determining glucose, lactate, glutamine, glutamate and ammonia levels in perfused mammalian cell cultures. This data can, in turn, be used to adjust the perfusion rate and to determine the optimal time for infection and harvest.
The following information
has been generated by end
users that have utilized
the FISP® for a minimum of one year.
The majority of these results
are from processes that have
been in place for 2 or more
years. Several of the following
have gone through GMP validation.
