Overview
Flownamics® is
a biotechnology company founded
in 1995 to address the needs
of fermentation and bioreactor
operators in the biotech
industry. Our focus is to
design high quality products
that are easy to operate.
Our initial product for this
industry was the FISP® probe.
It allows the operator to
take a sterile cell-free
sample from a vessel throughout
the run. Over the years,
the FISP® probe became the
standard for this application
and evolved into a variety
of different models that
continue to meet the growing
needs of this market. To
further service the industry,
Flownamics® introduced
the FAIZA online biochemistry
analyzer, which provides
automated monitoring and
control of a vessel's feed.
Our products assist researchers
in developing methods to
optimize their fermentation
or bioreactor process and
are utilized in lab, pilot
plant, and process environments.
We also do custom work to
accommodate the special sampling
or analysis needs of scientists.
Flownamics® expertise
and experience in the ever-expanding
biotechnology industry led
to strategic partnering with
European companies for US
distribution of their products.
One of these partnerships
is with Innovatis® and their
Cedex® system for automated
mammalian and yeast cell
analysis (density, viability,
growth curves, and cell morphology).
Another distribution partnership
is with Denovo Biolabels
and their Oyster® dyes used
in the drug discovery industry.
Flownamics® continues
to be a creative company
that develops new technologies,
making researchers more capable,
productive, and confident
in their results.
